So I have a problem with my XH ute and I cant find anything on forums about it. This problem happens in two stages, when I first drive it and it is completely cold when I start it (even if I let it warm up completely), and when I go around corners that require more than half a turn of lock, but still a third gear corner. What exactly happens is it seems to cut in and out really quickly, like something is drawing heaps of power out of the motor. It drops the revs by 500-700rpm and sometimes gets close to stalling. If I put the clutch in (manual) and let it off the throttle it stops straight away. I have changed the following- Fuel pump (the old one died) Fuel filter- I initially thought it was fuel, however changing both of these has done nothing and after about 1km of driving it stops, except at some corners, so it seems to be something to do with warming up. -power-steering pump (cos that was doing weird stuff all on it own) I also flushed out the power steering lines Plugs and leads are all newish Oil and filter changed every 5000ks The next thing on my list is injectors but Im not sure its even fuel it seems like something is sucking heaps of power. As I have said it happens even if I let it warm up completely. Any advice would help heaps.
