So I have an issue wondering if anyone here experienced the same or has any idea what to do. So back in May or June I went to get travel pay normal girl wasnt there this other lady says I didnt have a current financial sheet on file I explained I was told they arent required now mind you I am in a wheelchair she sends me to eligibility to fill one out I got there girl tells me they arent required your fine tell them I said your all set. So go back to travel the lady becomes angry picks up the phone and apparently she was head of eligibility and told the girl you will make him fill it out because I said so. So I ask if the va doesnt require it why are u insisting it be done I was here the other day and had no problems she replied you wont get travel until you fill it out. So I went back filled it out and exactly the same it has been for last 3 yrs I am exempt from copays a month later I got a letter saying I owe d them $50 in back copays so I called never delt with them before thought it was a mistake. To be told where I filled out the financial form and didnt have a current one they couldnt assume I would be exempt so I owe them been fighting with them for months now they are threating to doc my monthly wages. I went back to this lady because her fault. I have been exempt for four years now really so for 5-6 months I didnt have paperwork even to this day they say isnt required to do. Just because someone was in a bad mood and made me fill out paperwork not needed. It isnt the money it is the principal of it . It just pisses me off they are screwing with me again. This is just part of me being screwed by the VA. Went to the RO the other day because my vso refuses to return calls to find out they mailed him for paperwork which I never new about now have to go for another medical review panel. They need to fire everyone and start over place is so corrupt
