So I have been challenged to give seven lesser known facts about myself so here goes : 1. In my youth I was very good at football but unfortunately at that time it was not encouraged for girls and there were no opportunities to pursue it as a sport. 2. I am a fully accredited Brown Ale , sorry I mean Brown Owl , with the Brownie Guide association. I qualified when I was 18 but have sadly not been involved since I went to Uni. 3. I sang in a choir as a mezzo soprano until the age of 19. 4. I once blew up and set fire to my house with an aerosol can and the cooker. I was lucky to escape with minor injuries but I looked like Don King on a bad hair day. Two ambulances, a fire engine, police car and on call doctor ! My blonde highlights and and patio window came off worst. Come to think of it most people know about that one ! 5. I am terrified of moths and I cannot be in the same room as a moth. Most people know about that one too ! 6. I love blue moon roses, my dad used to grow them. 7. By virtue of my marriage to Peter I am related to Geordie Ridley a music hall entertainer who wrote the song Blaydon Races ( he is Peters great great grandfather ) and also Grace Darling who also is apparently in Peters family tree.
