So I have been on Tec since 8/18/13. Like most newbies to this medication I was scared shitless to take it. I did some research on this very page to see what others were doing to get through side effects and general anecdotes regarding their experience. I was still nervous but now I had a plan, just a little more knowledge about what I was about to undertake. I had already done copaxone and rebiff and they were failures. When I was finally able to get on Tec, I truly was running out of med choices. I had MRIS on 8/20/2014 of my brain and full spine. All the active lesions I had on my brain are now inactive and the plaques have shrank dramatically. Even the lesions in my Thoracic spine were active are now inactive and smaller in size. Overall impression I have mild disease activity and my MS is stable. For the first time since being diagnosed in 2009. The Tec is doing what it is supposed to be doing. So good luck for those starting out and if you can handle the side effects it does get better. It takes 6 months to reach full efficacy, so if you have a relapse prior to the end of that 6 month that is common, but anything after 6 months then the Neuros need to know.
