So I have changed my oil to Quaker State Q full synthetic and replaced my paper filter for a K&N drop in filter and will be monitoring my fuel consumption throughout the month of January. I will post final numbers at the end of the month. I have been saving my fuel receipts and recording my mileage since the middle of November so I will have a comparison of numbers. Dont worry, I will post in both metric and standard values, that way my metric - challenged friends have numbers as well ;) So far Ive seen my lowest number for a tank of fuel to be 520 km (323 miles) and my highest was 678 km (421 miles). Previous mileage numbers are 11.7l/100km (24.14 mpg). I expect better numbers with full synthetic and a K&N filter. Thanks for reading!
