So I have decided that I might sell my mare and would like everyones opinion on her worth. Name is Miss Scarlet of Tara, scarlet barn name. Is a registered paint mare. Stands 16.0 hands tall, sorrel overo, and 14 years old. Located in Highland, MD. Great riding mare and very versatile. Have competed equitation, hunters, and tall and halter/conformation. Last year we competed in Maryland state 4h horse show, competed in 7 classes and came home with 8 ribbons including a grand champion in conformation overall mares. The judges love her. The state fair judge said she would do magnificently in paint breed shows. Sadly there arent any in Maryland so weve only shown a small open show series now. Multiple champions and reserve champions. I love to experiment with current riding techniques so shes done a lot including barrel racing, jumpers, and even started liberty riding. She would even be amazing at lower level eventing. Started dressage lessons. Jumped up to 36 with rider and free jumped 46 once. Huge jump and scope. Can sometimes get lead changes but still at work. Other than that shes a great horse that a person of any age can handle. Could even be a lesson horse or brood mare. No buck or rear or kick. Stands for vet, farrier, etc. Does not mind other animals and is very friendly to all horses. Only reason for sell is because I feel like I am limiting her with riding and abilities because this mare loves to try new things and sadly I dont have the ability to do so. ** Note: last year after state fair I posted about her winnings because I was very proud of her and with what the judge had to say and later that day someone offered $25-30k for her but I refused at that time.**
