So I have had two separate occasions now where a man has followed me bumper to bumper, tried to run me off the road, and tried to trick me into god knows what. One time was a couple of years ago in Illinois and the other time was last night in Park Hills. I called the police and they took 13 minutes to even get to me, the guy had sped off about a minute before they got there. After he followed me through town, revving his engine and turning his lights off, pulled in behind me in my moms apartment complex, and parked right beside me and stared at me. Then pulled forward and backed in to a different parking spot hidden by other cars. He swung his truck door open and I watched him get on his hands and knees and maneuver around on the ground, watching me from under other parked cars, probably trying to sneak up on my vehicle. Im tired of fearing for my life because men have the upper hand. If a man wants to, they can abuse us, rape us, and kill us, and there is little to nothing we can do until its too late. & its apparent that they are proud of making us afraid. (Not all men Im just speaking of the ones who do these things or have intentions of doing these things) Ive never been what you would call a firearm enthusiast but its obvious that its one of the only options that women have to protect themselves. So thanks to the meth head freak driving the red, small, beat up truck.. Ive decided to get my conceal and carry. And to be morbid, I cant wait to go pick out the gun that might put a pretty bullet through a mans head that thinks they can ever lay a finger on me or try to endanger my life, or my daughters life in anyway.
