So, I have not been feeling well lately...my back has been hurting...I carried something too heavy sometime back. A few times I have had to go see a Dr. During some of those hospital visits I have met a few people who said (rather jokingly perhaps); Ah Pastor you cant get sick? Just lay hands on yourself. Most recently I told one of them; well...Pastors die too. I have laid hands on the sick and seen the demonstration of Gods healing power many times. Yet I have also prayed for the sick who did not get well. The most frustrating experience was two years ago. I prayed without ceasing for my daughter to get well, but she died anyway. Infact, an army of believers worldwide prayed and fasted for her. The thing is: GOD IS SOVEREIGN. I have since decided to always make it very clear to people that I am the kind of Pastor who will show you the narrow way to God. I will never lead anyone to the highway that leads to a false God who says yes to all your wishes. I will lead you to the bread of life...to a fountain of living waters. I guarantee that you will have eternal life, but I will not be able to eleminate all your sufferings. Christ might not either. Your present sufferings are nothing conpared to the glory to come. Follow me at your own risk lol. The principle thing is to secure your relationship with God - whatever that will cost you. Trust and obey Him -through the sunshine and the rain. #followmetothenarrowroad
