So..I have some news that yall probably dont wanna hear but I hope youll read my entire post and put yourself in my shoes before passing judgement. December 31st will be Chloes Canines last official day as a rescue. These 3 babies will be the last of the rescue dogs for us. I want to start out by saying thank you for all the support the past year or so I couldnt have done what I have without yall. There are numerous reasons Im closing but a couple of the main reasons are that I live an hour from where I work and so its impossible to have much volunteer help and with my full time job plus commute hours and FULL time rescue work....Im beyond exhausted. After the first of the year I will be helping Dawgs n Texas (a rescue out of Dalhart Texas with over 800 dogs) and that way I can continue what I love without the full time commitment and financial responsibility (as donations are few and far between). I want to say a HUGE thank you to those who have donated money, time, supplies, those who share our posts, those whove adopted, those who have even just followed and supported our work through your positive thoughts and prayers. I will continue a personal pug rescue as thats where my heart has always been and like I said, will help Dawgs in their adoption efforts. Ive already given them all our extra kennels, bowls, crates etc. Ive been considering this decision for quite sometime....struggling with giving up something Ive worked so hard to create. I dont consider it a failure, as so many lives have been saved and changed through the animals that have come through here and for that..I have to smile. If you would like to help Addies vet bill, it would still be greatly appreciated. Also helping spread the word for the bratty brindle and Titan. I will continue taking them to Petsmart on the weekends in hopes to find their forever family. I will also be keeping this page open for quite some time to share abandoned animals, lost animals, etc as well as share the animals that DAWGS has available. Once again, I love you guys and hope you understand.
