So, I heard this song first thing in my car coming home from school, and I cried the whole way home. Literally sobbing. For the last few years, Ive wondered why I am at my job. I didnt feel effective, definitely not appreciated, barely making it work financially and hardly ever feeling like a good enough Mom. Being gone from my kids and my honey while taking classes, teaching classes, planning and professional development. Ive had myself convinced that had I stayed in my cushy corporate area I would be making SO much more $$ and maybe feeling like I had a purpose. BUT GOD KNEW...and as angry as Ive been for feeling stuck, HE had a plan for me, and I am SO GLAD that I didnt give up. God sure didnt. I have the BEST job and work with the BEST professionals, and I learn everyday how to get better.
