So, I just got back from the vet with Lucy. She hasnt been able to get out of bed and walk for a week. Stemming from sitting on her accidentally in September. She needs a $2,500 knee surgery. I still owe $500 of the $750 for spaying her last month....and todays visit was $130.....fml. Any suggestions on how to raise $2,500? I was given a few names of foundations that help pay vet bills. At the vet they suggested I give her away to someone who can afford to fix her leg???? No way. Shes my baby....I just cant give her away because Im poor. On my way home I stopped and gave a homeless guy with a dog on Market Street all my change I had and asked him to pray I find the money for Lucys surgery....he felt weird about taking the change, but I made him....and gave his dog some treats the vet gave Lucy....ugh everything revolves around $$$$$$$$$$$ Please let me know if you know any other foundations or finacially blessed generous dog lovers willing to help pay her bill. ♡ Payments can be given directly to Harden Ranch Veterinary Hosital (831) 443-8387 under Lucys account #12852 when I reach the $2,500 she can get the needed surgery.
