So I just want to put something out there. Im trying to think of how exactly I should word this. If you have a dream no matter how big or small or even silly it might seem, go after it. Do absolutely anything you can to put yourself out there! Be creative!! Yes, there will be people who will doubt you, put you down, or make fun of you. But i promise once you make it that will all seem so small. Dont you ever let anyone convince you that you cant do some thing. Because you can. And you will. If theres a will theres a way! Now I know this is a whole lot to read but Id like to tell you my story.. My whole life all Ive dreamt of is being a singer. I used to sit in my closet when I was a little girl and sing the national anthem over and over and over again hoping it would help me get better, lol. I always thought my dream was something to be excited about and to be proud of, until I hit junior high/high school. I started posting YouTube videos and sharing them on Facebook. And I would audition for American idol and The voice and let my Facebook friends know. And while I had a lot of support I also had a lot of people making fun of me, making videos mocking me, and doing the unimaginable to put me down. I was told my dream was stupid and that I wasnt any good. I would never make it anywhere. I can remember laying in bed crying, wishing I was better and praying that people would see how bad I wanted it and just respect that. As you know, a few days ago I took a huge step to achieving my dream. I made a sign for the Hunter Hayes concert saying its my dream to sing on stage and while I carried it around people were laughing and making fun of my silly poster. And while i felt a little discouraged, I knew I had to keep my head up and try, even if it meant failing miserably. Next thing I knew Hunter was talking to me and asking me what song we should sing. So I made my way up there and I sang up on stage in front of thousands of people with Hunter Hayes himself! Id like to add I was the first to ever sing with him on stage. ;) And as I was up there looking out to the sea of people recording, screaming, and cheering me on. I was absolutely ecstatic! Because I did it, I finally did it! Its absolutely rewarding because part of my silly and unrealistic dream came true!! My hard crazy work has paid off and I feel so blessed! I cannot stop thanking God for this amazing opportunity! And I promise this isnt the last youll see of me!! I wont ever stop doing everything I can to make my crazy dream come true!:) So please please please never let someone tell you cant or that you should give up!! Yes, its more than likely youre going to fail a few times, maybe fall right on your face like I have, but get up wipe yourself off and keep pushing!! You have this one life, work as hard as you can to live out your craziest wildest dreams! I promise if you want it bad enough, its possible!! I love you all and I believe in you all, keep pushing!! I support every one of you and your craziest endeavors!!❤️
