So I left my house at 4:30 this morning to stay with my two - TopicsExpress

So I left my house at 4:30 this morning to stay with my two grandsons while my daughter took her little girl for surgery. She had to be at Conemaugh Hospital in Johnstown by 6 a.m. When they left, I said goodbye to my granddaughter whose little hands and feet where swollen like balloons from hives. By 8 a.m. one of my grandsons got up and I was going to fix him breakfast, but at that point I got a call from my husband who had just gotten up with severe nausea, dizziness and sweating. He said he needed to go to the ER. So, I got my other grandson out of bed. They got dressed and we headed out the door to pick up PopPop and take him to the ER in Somerset. After we got my husband settled in the ER, I took the boys to the snack bar for breakfast since we didnt have time to eat at home. I called my daughter who was still at Conemaugh Hospital with her little girl. Her surgery was scheduled at 8 a.m. It was now around 8:30 and she still was not in surgery. Because, her hands and feet were swollen so badly, they couldnt put an IV in either her hand or foot. So, they did find a spot on her arm to put the IV. She made it through surgery with flying colors and got her hot pink cast. Since we were still at the ER when she was done with surgery, my daughter had to come to Somerset Hospital to get her two boys. Meanwhile they gave my husband something for the nausea and continued giving him fluids. At 1:15 p.m. we left Somerset Hospital ER with my husband wearing a heart monitor. They will monitor his heart for 24 hours. He will have to return tomorrow to see if anything showed up on the monitor. So, we still need your prayers. Im very thankful my granddaugther is doing ok and can continue with meds that will help her hives. Your prayers got her through that!
