So, I m reading through the Health Zone section of the Sunday - TopicsExpress

So, I m reading through the Health Zone section of the Sunday Chronicle and I come across this article about childrens mental health. And according to this article, a couple of professors from Harvard, with the help of a child psychologist with over 30 years of experience, came up with a 17 question checklist to help pediatricians better screen for psychological problems. Here is a sample of questions on this life-changing list (parents are asked to circle never, sometimes or often to refer to these symptoms: (Are you ready? Because you may have f*cking mental health problems after you read this.) -Refuses to share -Does not listen to rules -Blames others for his or her troubles -Acts as if driven by a motor -Takes things that does not belong to him or her Take a minute to stop laughing if you need to. Uh, really Harvard? This is what you came up with? You just described EVERY F*CKING KID THAT HAS EVER LIVED. EVER. Oh, and it gets better. There are several hospital systems across the US (including our own Texas Childrens) that are going to start using this test to screen all their patients. Its supposed to help identify attention issues, depression, types of psychosis and autism. What its really going to identify is that I have been right all along.......all kids are f*cking insane. And I didnt even have to go to Harvard to figure that out. I must be a super-genius. I wonder if they have a test for that?
