So, I must be honest when I say this, but yesterday I realised that this past weekend I had actually achieved my greatest long-term goal that I had set myself almost 6 years ago when I took the plunge into this industry. At the time it was only a dream, but to play what many people call the main set on the Terrace at Truth, on a normal packed Saturday night, amongst some of the best in the business, was the ultimate for me - thats all I wanted to do. For years I pushed towards that goal. Fortunately, that dream turned into reality this weekend. I was given the opportunity and gave my everything during those 2 hours on that special floor, having watched legends play there before me for the past 7 - 8 years, I had so much to live up to, and the nerves really showed. Ive never experienced anything quite like that in all these years. I guess I really just want to let anybody know, that perseverance, hard work and dedication can really go such a long way towards achieving your goals. Persistance is key, and you never know when that opportunity may fall into your hands. Grasp it and never look back. Move forward and push towards bigger and better things. This is only the beginning of what can be such a special time of your life! Lastly, a MASSIVE thanks to you, for ALL the support and guidance that has been shown and offered to me over the years. From all my fellow DJs showing their support, to the crazy party animals. Personally this means so much to me. This has been a journey I will never forget, we keep moving forward together from here! A special thanks to Guy Herman, Vik Vaid and Jon Sartor for everything. Honestly, I dont know what else to say, other than thank you!
