So I need to find this sweet kitty a home. My neighbor came to me asking if I could care for her for a few days until he found her a good home, as he was being evicted. I said yes thinking he was going to stick to his word. It has now been almost 2 months and I can not afford to take care of her. My landlords found out I was caring for her, and since Ive had her for so long, they are wanting me to pay a pet deposit of $500 which I absolutely can not pay, they are now threatening to evict me if I dont pay the deposit or get rid of her. I dont want to take her to a shelter if I dont have to, but it is very clear to me that her owner just isnt going to come back for (Ive contacted him several times, with no results). I dont know much about her, but I do believe she has been spayed. Her name is Kiki, and she is very sweet. Shes even very tolerant of and patient with my 3 year old son, who hasnt yet grasped the concept of being gentle. I dont know what kind of cat she is but she has a very pretty pattern of fur, as seen in pictures, and light blue eyes. She is completely potty trained, and she hasnt gone anywhere but her litter box since Ive had her. I would keep her if I could but I just can not afford the pet deposit, and I am not willing to lose the roof of my childs head over this whole mess. If anyone is interested please let me know, she will come with a litter box, a kitty bed and a bunch of kitty toys, a food and water bowl, and possibly a little bit of litter.
