So I pick Jack up from his UNI digs on Firday, we load the car with all his stuff (and I do mean all), off we go. We start chatting and I ask him if it will be nice to be home etc, yeah he replies. Daniel isn’t coming home until the Saturday and Jack mentions Daniel has asked if he fancied going down his as they are planning on going to the forum that night, Jack doesn’t fancy it as it’s money he replies, of course as the loving caring dad I am I offer to give him some money so he can go, he replies with “Nah I’ve got so much work to do for Uni, then theres a slight pause....but in his next breath he says “I’m going to have so much time on my hands now”, obviously I reply with what you just said youve got so much work to do”, yeah I have, but I’m not going to have to cook, clean up, do any washing or ironing now for a bit” It did make me chuckle welcome home boys Claire Ridley
