So I put up 2 songs for review by Reverbnation: This is a review for My Heart Wasnt Ready ... The music was faded in and that is not a good way to start a song, The music was clouded and not very clear and lacking in instrumentation to back this awful off key vocalist who could not sing his was out of a paper bag. The song was amateur and lacked a melodic hook or a vocal melody or lyric with a hook. This was a home made job by an artist with an o.k. at best voice who was very limited in talent as far as performance and songwriting and a rather easy wanna be demo lacking in production and ambiance and easy to pass on. I love this mans voice and sounds beautiful over the arrangement of the music. I initially was thinking ballad, when I first heard the introduction. I was somewhat speechless and found myself wanting to stop and listen, instead of type. It made me also want to fall in love and could hear this at someones wedding. This is sooo sweet. I almost cried honestly. You deserve the best of me..no who doesnt want to hear that? Again, the vocals on this is phenomenal and the energy is great. The authenticity is there and I love the vocal quality, from beginning to end. I listened to this whole song because it was definitely worth listening to! I like that some people dig it and some people dont ... Keeps me honest. What do you think?
