So I saw an arrow blow up while being shot for the first time ever. Thankfully the bow is alright and no one got hurt. It happened to my dad, who wasnt even aware that this could happen. Not once in his 40yrs of archery has he seen this(he was aware of it). I love my dad and owe him for alot that I know, but today I taught him something about a very special gift he gave me, spinecheck!!! Please inspect ur gear before shooting at all times! It can save u or even someone around u a costly trip to the ER. Spine check is plastered all over our arrows for a reason. I feel like if it wasnt for my dads watch today this could have gone very very bad. Our sport is very dangerous, and u only get one body to shoot with, please take care of it. Dont count on luck to take care of u!! Merry Christmas!!!
