So I signed up for this Quibids auction site. I just bought a Cuisinart cookset for $1.70 plus 48 bids at $0.60 each for a total price of $47.10. Retail value was stated as $199. Heres how it works, you pre-buy bids, then when you bid the price goes up by one cent. Basically each time you bid youre adding 61 cents to the price youll pay, and ten seconds to the countdown clock. But, youre not paying for everyone elses bids. If you play the game right, you can get some good deals. Beware, auctions arent for everyone!
