So I started fermenting some feed the other day, put it in clean bleached ice cream buckets and let it go. Day one, stirred and added water, day two smelled sweet and nice, fed some that day, added more water to thin it a bit. Day three opened the two buckets and a thick white coating on top that looked like mold of some kind and it smelled like vinegar. Temps have been cool here in Indiana, today we struggled to get into the 70s . What happened? I dumped it in the yard and covered with some dirt.
