So, I started out New Years Day by fixing some cinnamon rolls for breakfast. I noticed as I fixed the whoppa rolls (whoppa meaning you whop them on the edge of the counter to open the can) that these things are different than when I was a kid. Theyre almost like little time bombs now - you never know when theyre going to pop. Now, unlike when I first encountered these things, you have to peel off the label to get them to pop. However, they MAY pop by themselves AS youre peeling off the label. So, now I have to hold them away from me and sort of squint in anticipation - like holding a live grenade or something. I almost want to play hot potato after the label is off - toss them from person to person until it explodes on someone. If it wasnt for the dont play with your food rule, I think I would gather the kids in a circle and do just that. I just dont know when cinnamon rolls became so dangerous.
