So I started the day making cinnamon rolls. I then worked on Daisys bed. Its on of those nice heavy cloth beds that zip up. The inside was a cheap pillow lined with a few cedar chips and some padding. I cant run it through the washer and its gotten pretty beat up. So I tossed the insides. I took two old vinyl backed crib sheets and made one into a pillow filled with fresh cedar chips (sewn shut) then I made another filled with padding. That one can be opened if need be. I pull them out and wipe them down while the outer cover is being washed. I thought it was a good idea and Daisy seems happy with her new fluffy bed. She even let Champ put his head on it (but not his body lol) So how did I end this day? I made these wonderful meatballs and served them with pasta and my own marinara sauce. I ground part of a large pork roast for the sausage portion and added the ground turkey and then ground them together again to make Italian sausage. I then proceeded with the recipe. They are soooo good! foodnetwork/recipes/giada-de-laurentiis/classic-italian-turkey-meatballs-recipe.html Please note that I did not put little decorative sticks in the meatballs nor did I place decorative greens on the plate. I tossed them into a bowl for a serve yourself spaghetti feed. A little garlic toast and it was yum.
