So I started this summer working as a front desk clerk at the largest hotel in Maine. After only a month and a half ownership, not just management, the owner of the freaking national company felt that I have worked hard enough and proved myself enough to give me a manager position for the evening shifts of a neighboring hotel effective as of last week. Just today I was told that I am also going to be entered into their Manager In Training program effective immediately after graduation, where I will then be put on a 3 year track to becoming a general manager of any of their locations in the country! Holy catfish batman! You mean to tell me my career is actually starting to fall into place?! Its a great day to be me. I love you all.
