So, I swapped out the hard drive on my macbook 5,1 (late 08 aluminum unibody) a while back and the mouse is sometimes horribly delayed and slightly erratic. I looked it up, and apparently when the battery gets low, that happens. I replaced the battery and no change. I also recently went from 2x2GB RAM to 2x4GB RAM and now I at 6GB (4+2). Still having this crappy mouse problem. Oddly enough, it seems to happen most often (but not always) when I have Chrome open. I usually have several javascript heavy tabs open, but it behaved better before all the changes with just 4GB RAM. Of course, that was also an earlier version of Chrome. Ive repaired disk permissions and restarted so many times I cant stand it. Any ideas anyone?
