So, I think abstinence from social media is maybe not the answer, but instead, an opportunity to practice moderation using a relatively non-damaging medium. Ive been doing a lot of reflecting on some repeating patterns in my behavior, and while my findings are not of the wildly epiphanic variety, Ive still learned some important truths about Elizabeth. Truth 1: I will put forth a ridiculous amount of effort to change someones (key here:someONE) mind about me, and while doing so, disregard countless loving, amazing, AWESOME people, walking through the world alongside me, who already have their minds made up. Truth 2: I know who I WANT to be, and I get glimpses of her, but even my most sincere, loving gestures are rooted in self, and THAT is NOT who I want to be. Now that Ive blown chunks... Large chunks of truth about myself... All over you, Please know, Im trying to do better.
