So, I told Meridith last week that I suspected Id get a bad report on my PET scan. Bingo. The Avastin didnt touch the cancer at all. Drug number two crossed off the list. Affinitor is next on the list. If youve seen me in the last month or during a good part of the cycle with Sutent, youve seen me at my best. Affinitor is a baddy as far as side effects (bad mouth sores, fatigue, etc.) and there is no break as with Sutent, so the side effects just keep going and going. Sitting here outside stunned. Lesson in 30 minutes so need to put a smile on. Glad in all this that I have great support from family and friends, especially the prayer support. Please dont stop, and could especially use prayer for emotional health right now. God is still good and in charge - I have things to do yet like see my grandson and it would be nice to see him fiddle some day. :-)
