So, I understand that everyone is in the football spirit. And I get that it is temporary. But seriously, I elect my representatives to do serious work that makes a difference in peoples lives. I understand when new Post Offices and the like need to be named having a minor diversion but when there is already a perfectly good name, taking time out of the legislative schedule to rename a mountain out of sports pride seems wasteful of taxpayer money for your time. Though perhaps thats why it passed, it somehow came up for a vote and people were like, yeah... yeah... whatever... lets get on to real work. I dont know. If sports is your biggest concern legislatively, there are probably things you arent paying attention to that you should be.
