So I wanted to speak on something I realized recently, About five months ago I had a new coworker who started working with me. She was darker than me, hair was nappier then mind, had the build of the black goddess which was plenty of hips and plenty of butt but SWORE she was NOT black. I later realized, she was from Dominican Republic. It made me look at her in disgust. U think ur better because u speak a different language really??? I speak creole....but then I had to realize I myself was raised to believe I was not black. Imagine that!!! Both of my parents who lived in the time of MLK believed that they werent black because they came from Haiti. Lolol. Then another incident I had one of my customers say to me, ur not african black right? Me being a conscious woman, looked at him like he was crazy. What the hell is African black??? Lastly I went to see Dr Sebi speak. Dr Sebi is the healer left eye was visiting when she died. He spoke about when ppl asked where he was from and he would say he spoke Spanish and he was from Honduras but he realized hes still an African no different then the Africans who were brought to America only he was brought to Honduras. I then realized that what Blas Santana told me was true. Its a divide and conquer tactic. If Hispanics (who really are just mixed race black ppl) joined forces with the rest of the black population. WE (meaning black ppl) would be the majority and white supremacy would surely fall. How do u prevent that from happening? U do it psychologically by convincing some that theyre better then the others so that they try to disassociate themselves just in hopes of being viewed as closer to the dominant race smh. That Massa is a tricky somebody. I am Haitian!!! I am black. Point blank. Stop trying to make yourselves feel better by telling yourselves your the different because u speak a different language. The black ppl in France speak French, the black ppl in Puerto Rico speak Spanish, the black ppl in Haiti speak creole... BUT WE ARE ALL BLACK...
