So I was assigned a cleaning project this morning while the cafe was slow. I was to scrub down the servers alley within an inch of its life. During the project I waited on a usual customer who always gets a to-go oatmeal. After putting in his order he sat up front to wait and I went back to my cleaning project. I started to come up front to check on his order when I slipped on some water and went full weight down on to my knee (and yes we have a concrete floor). I Peter Griffined it for about ten minutes until I was able to get to my feet. A few minutes later when the oatmeal came up I brought it over to the customer. He asked me, Did you just fall? You saw me fall... down on to concrete... you saw that I didnt immediately get back up... and yet you did nothing but sit there... Yes. Yes I did. Enjoy your oatmeal. Humanity sucks.
