So, I was informed that our health insurance has to change because we in fact cant keep our plan. The closest equivalent under the same company is a 38% increase. The plan we are going with from another company is only a 15% increase and adds a couple grand to our out of pocket max. and annual deductibles. Exactly what I want to see when were having a baby next year. The ACA is a perfect example of peoples heart being in the right place (make insurance affordable) with absolutely shit planning and no actual thought going into it. ironically, it did the exact opposite than its supposed intention. This type of sweeping legislation cannot be rushed or it turns into an absolute shit storm like it has. Anyone who brought up anything regarding actually debating and reviewing studies was labeled as hating the poor, racist, or just hating a particular party.
