So I was listening to a personal development call the other day - TopicsExpress

So I was listening to a personal development call the other day and the speaker brought out something very profound. He said, People do not want wealth. They want the benefits that wealth can bring. They want the experiences, the friends, the help. And then he gave the story of being abandoned on a beautiful island with a million dollars in your pocket. What good would the million dollars do you? But if you were left on the island with a hut, a massage therapist, tons of delicious food, your closest friends, and a plane ride home whenever you wanted, wouldnt you pick that? Its the same with life. If you have all this money in the bank, but no one to share it with, or very poor health, what good can it do you? For me, wealth is about friendships, experiences, contentment, and having health. What about you? What do YOU count as wealth?
