So I was thinking of putting together plans to make a gi storage bookshelf. Something kinda like the attached picture, but without the dividers. Some kind of dowel rod or pole across the middle to hang gis up in. Lower storage area for a gear bag. I was pondering maybe one divider in the middle area for a laundry hamper, but im not sure if that fits the concept or not. Any thoughts? Itd have to be pretty deep. I measured a hangar, and its a bit over 16 inches (close to 17). Thatd be about a 1x10 and a 1x8 joined together. Anyway, if theres some interest i could draw something up in google sketchup and give some plan ideas if anybody wanted to build one.
