So I watched ALL of HOUSE OF CARDS Season 2 and...its a soap. Period, its a soap. A soap with really good cinematography and varnished furniture, but a soap. Ain no shame in bein a soap, but it has these times it THINKS its prestige TV. And its not, its a soap. Its just random stuff happening, and sometimes they dump characters for no real reason, and 90% of the drama comes from characters going, Hey, Kevin Spacey is evil...oh, lets listen to him anyway. Its ludicrous, but still, an ep ends -- you watch the next. cause its a soap. Also, this season had way too much Major Dad. Hes one of our finest actors, but theres only so much one can take of him barking orders on the phone while tending birds.
