So I watched the Red Wings v. Washington Capitals last night instead of the yawn in KC. Red Wings score a goal by Lashoff which is rubbed off due to goaltender (Holtby) allegedly being interfered with by Wings Glendening. Holtby just fell down like an awkward cow. Glendening was three feet or more away from Holtby when he went down. No replay appeals in the NHL except on whether a goal scored is legitimate or for time on the clock. Thanks to official, no goal and a man in the penalty box and Washington on the power play. See the play for yourself. I marvel that blind men can skate so well and still make such calls
