So, I went to AutoNation Mazda Mitsubishi today to test drive a car that tickled my fancy. It was a 2013 Mitsubishi Evolution X and I was considering trading in my current car for it. Well, I will never set foot on an AutoNation car lot ever again. I got a nice car salesman and he knew his shit about that car. I have the utmost respect for him. After talking with him for awhile, I asked for a test drive. He left me on the lot for about 15 minutes and came back with a sorry. Basically, the manager on duty refused the test drive because, and I quote the salesman, He wanted to keep the miles low. It had 9000 miles on it. What the crap??? How do you even sell new cars if you dont let people drive them? I shook the guys hand and respectfully told him he was a good salesman, but i call bullshit on that reason and said bye. It comes down to how young I look. I was tagged either by the sales man or the phantom manager as a looky loo hipster who just wants a joy ride.
