So I went to the dr yesterday and had some tests done. I have a pretty substantial infection in both kidneys. I got a shot of antibiotics and some pain medicine. The problem is I have had so many infections that my body is building up a resistance to all the antibiotics and they have to treat me more and more aggressively each time. I go tomorrow back to the dr to check my kidneys again. If no progress is shown they will set me up for iv antibiotics tomorrow. The other issue I have is my tubes to my kidneys are routed wrong and I am eventually going to have to have some surgery to correct the issue. The last urologist told me I cant keep having these infections like this all the time because my kidneys cant keep up. I got my medical history from my birth father and he has stage four kidney disease. That scares me but my birth father has been nice enough to open his medical records to me and forwarded all his records to my last urologist. They are sending me to a urologist at UNC since my case is so involved. Hopefully I can get some good answers. So for know I keep taking deep breaths and hope for the best. I am just sick and tired of being sick and tired! But this too shall pass. I want to thank you guys for your love and support!! It means the world to me! I will just keep on journeying on.
