So I went to the pet store this morning to get my conure and....someone had got her :( tbh I was kind of bummed, but the lady who owns the pet place took my name & number and said they get hand-raised conures all the time and she would get in touch w/ me about them soon. In the meantime, I decided to get a pair of parakeets because theyre adorable and I love them. Theyre so scared, poor babies. Theyll come around, though. When I was checking out, the pet store lady asked me if I was interested in adoption, which of course I am. I told you guys the other day I love birds. She put me in touch w/ an older lady (like a grandma) whose own mother had recently passed away and one of her last wishes was that her two cockatiels be taken good care of. It turned out, after her mom passed, that she was allergic to them, so she wants me to take them in and love them and have them as my own :3 Elvis is 30 years old (WOW!) and Dizzy is 7 years old. Getting them this afternoon. BRUH
