So I went with Mrs. Fischer yesterday to be with Mike (her husband). Mike is dying. He is in pain, and is coughing up bloody stuff. He said he is ready to go home. He knows hes going to heaven. But Im typing this because I want to say I have never seen a love like theirs. Such a pure unselfish love. He was laying there in the hospital bed telling me how to change the oil in the grasshopper lawnmower because he knew that Paula cant do it. He looks at me, and I see the concern for her. Ive never seen that kind of love. All he could think about was her, and all she wanted was for him to be comfortable. I was in awe of the love between this man and woman. It moved me to the point I had to excuse myself. I knew if I started crying that I wouldnt stop. A love like that only comes along once in a lifetime. Im so privileged to get to witness that. Plz keep both of them in your prayers.
