So... If you mention to your OB that you are having a funny heartbeat and cough every time it happens...coupled with third trimester pregnancy and lightheaded-ness... she will send you directly next door to the cardiac unit of the hospital to pick up a nifty monitor. But here I sit. On a floor dedicated to heart issues and there isnt a free seat in the place. Men and women young and old each here about their hearts. And I am overwhelmed by the Truth that I cannot overlook and this perfect picture of our great need for a healing God. Because we all have heart issues. All of our hearts are in need of the only One who can touch them and make them right again. So, Lord, Im asking for a miracle. Touch each heart in this room and each heart reading these words. Let the presence of Your Son bring healing to even the most desperate and broken places within each of us. Not just physically, but mentally, spiritually and emotionally as well. In the precious name of Jesus.
