So... Im at Beta Nightclub today and I hear the staff talking about an up-coming DJ who has requested adequate stage set up for their set later this month or next. Intrigued, I ask if this DJ has ever been to Colorado and who the headliner is. Im informed its a local for the live stream on a Wednesday. Now, I was told the name of this local and the biggest favor I could do for them is to call them out publicly. Thus, Im not gonna do that. I just wanna say, if youre a local DJ, a supporter of Beta Nightclub, and they let you play their live stream... you need to understand who is doing whom the favor. Not only do you get to come in and dick around on quality equipment but the staff is generous enough to record your mix for you and air to an audience. Point of this rant. Know your place. Be grateful for what we have and what others do for us. Beta doesnt have to open their doors on their day off for you. Prior to today, I had never heard of this kid... and I kind of hope I never hear his name in this proximity again.
