So Im at DSW buying a pair of shoes (I know - shocker!) and I see a display of sweater tights. Oh, they would be so warm on my walks to work during the winter months! So I look for a black pair in my size and dont see any. I take a M/L pair and go up to the register to pay for my shoes and ask the cashier if they have a S/M pair in the back, because I didnt see any in that size on the display. She says We only have whats out there, but let me double-check. So she goes to the display and comes back with a S/M pair and says Perhaps you should have looked a little harder! I said Well I happen to be legally blind! She went around the counter back to her registered and was all of a sudden artificially super-nice to me. I couldve asked for her manager and complained, but I think she WAS the manager, and besides, I think she felt bad enough already. No need to raise a fit and say I will never shop at this store again! - I think she felt bad enough after she realized she was rude and insensitive. And yes, as long as they keep sending me $10 off coupons, Ill probably keep shopping there. In fact, I will make it a point to get in her line from now on so I can see how she treats me next time.
