So Im checking through the musicians listing on Craigslist - Treasure Coast - I see theres this duo named The Sophisticats looking for an agent/salesperson - (Im not interested but some of you might be) - Id heard the name before, even checked out their site awhile back and just now - I says ok, they play out, let me check YouTube - Nada!! Unless theyve got something uploaded from a venue or something, I can not find one video of them in action. Their webpage has some audio and a video, but a flyer or something with audio - why dont people upload some live videos of them performing??? I dont get it ... and then some musicians whine about getting gigs!! They are available for private parties and such - would I hire them site unseen? Nope, not on your bottom dollar. Besides, there are two performers and prerecorded music - I call it glorified Karaoke for whomever goes that route - if anyone knows these people, you might do them a favor and suggest they get some performances uploaded - might fatten their wallet if looking for work.
