So Im going out on a limb here, hanging over some uncharted waters - TopicsExpress

So Im going out on a limb here, hanging over some uncharted waters using face book to begin some research. Im asking for some constructive objective help (no ridicule necessary today). On a subject regarding direct deposit at the work place. I dont normally voice My opinion vs. My employer but feel My cage is being rattled. My current employer is switching over. I understand being green and cutting budgets but there is a bigger picture here. And how these decisions affect all society and its future. They tell me any concerns are a union issue. Ok great! Unions are designed to protect the worker from the corporations right? I know direct deposit sounds easy and freeing but at what cost? I dont want to lose my right to choose method of payment. Once we lose a paycheck we will never get it back. And thoes who are on the fence will they be able to switch back from direct deposit to a paycheck? They didnt receive the letter from the union regarding the issue. only the 46 employees who still receive paychecks did. They are unaware of their choices. I feel Im losing religious freedom and being forced by my employer to go against what I believe. And not to forget to mention something everyone can understand, security issues. How much more my info would be assesable to the wrong hands. I would like to sound some what intelligent as I prepare and present my letter of concern. Beyond that there is a bigger picture that these decisions for society to jump on board with the going trend and not stand up for the little guy (I now have become the minority) is detrimental to America not an act of progress. At any rate, trembling hands aside, two fold, lose or win, I feel compelled to stand up for myself and my co-workers.... Feeling compelled to advise? feel free to contact, pm, or Open a can of worms here on the fb. Lol thanks to all who care.
