So. Im going to have a gentle venting moment. I took Christian to Gifford Urgent care. I signed him in, submitted insurance and paid copay. We sat down for awhile and then I was called to the window, This is where it ALL went wrong. The physician refused to see Christian because he is a Type 1 Diabetic. What!?!?!? I calmly said because he is a diabetic you wont see him? The nurse said that is correct. My response Wait. What? A Dr is sending a sick child away? Christian is saying while this is going on I cant help that I am a Diabetic? So my anger level is very high to say the least.Diabetes is hard enough, but when you have a sick one its harder. I understand had we been rude, not paid copy or had insurance, but that is not how it happened. The Dr needs to quit her job, if she is not confidant in her abilities.
