So Im in Big Lots and about 5 minutes after I get there I noticed - TopicsExpress

So Im in Big Lots and about 5 minutes after I get there I noticed this little boy about 4yrs old running around by himself. A couple minutes later I hear someone say Is he peeing. I turn around and this kid has his little wiener out peeing on a shelf full of stuff. After trying to ask the boy where his parents are and him just laughing and running from me I let the workers know VERY loudly that there is an unattended little boy that just pulled down his pants and peed on a bunch of stuff. As Im walking back to where my cart is I see this lady BARELY calling a boys name as she is looking at stuff on a shelf(Hes already been running around for at least 10-15 mins by now.) Anyway, I had a feeling that it was her kid and I asked her if she is missing her son and she says yea as if she really wanted to say Why do you wanna know. Of course very loudly, I say Well, as you probably already know hes running around the store and he just pulled his pants down and pissed all over a shelf full of stuff... And when she was told she had to leave the store she had the nerve to ask the worker WHY!?! And didnt even offer to clean up her sons mess. Seriously, I hear so often how having a child is one of the best experiences a woman can have and it pretty much makes you complete blah, blah, blah and even though I may not completely agree I do get it and understand. If my mom didnt have me well, I wouldnt be here!! But in my OPINION raising them to be respectful, appreciative, strong and hopefully productive members of society one day, that can make it on their own in life is something worth bragging about! I could get it if he did it outside at a park or pool area or something but not in a store. Now, someone else has to go clean up the mess that this kid made all because his mom first, wasnt keeping an eye on him at all and secondly, clearly he hasnt been taught that this isnt ok or there really hasnt been any consequences for his behavior. Lately Ive been seeing a lot of disrespectful and entitled little kids, that parents have no control over and most of the time dont even try to control. So moral of the story, kids can be a beautiful thing but if you have them its your responsibility as a parent to control them and teach them right from wrong and hey, if you dont agree then dont have them in a situation that will affect others that had no say in whether or not you had them. Not everything that they do that you would tolerate is something that everyone else should have to tolerate! -----END RANT! SIDE NOTE: I did get a lot of cute Christmas decorations for 50%f off!
