So Im in a waiting room and a rowdy woman comes in with her friend and sits right next to me. Shes just gossiping, cussing, talking about how people are rude and how they be starring at her when she walks in the room etc. She was just clearly expressing her discomfort, anger, and Im sure this heat is not helping her attitude today. I turned to her, touched her knee and said well maybe its because your very beautiful and smiled. She smiled so big, laughed and said thank you! After that she felt a conviction for her behavior. The bible says in Proverbs 15:1 A gentle answer deflects anger, but harsh words make tempers flare. Anyone could of upset her at this point because she was so sensitive and ready to set It off but God will call us to be a light and to control the atmosphere. For we know wd dont wrestle with flesh and blood. We dont have to preach.. love covers sin! Proverbs 10:12 Hatred starts fights, but love pulls a quilt over the bickering.
