So Im on BelAir Rd today getting ready to get into a turning lane when I see the car behind me get into the turning lane also to attempt to ride it all the way to the light. The truck in front of me, apparently not seeing the car, glides over into the turning lane also. This makes the guy in the car slam on his brakes and the guy just lays on his horn. Truck keeps going. I laugh at what is a pretty common scene of traffic in this area and, coast being clear, I slide into the turning lane myself, behind the car. We all stop at the light. The guy in the car puts his car in park and gets out. Im thinking What is he doing? He proceeds to walk up to the guy in the truck. I think Holy crap and reach over to get my purse in case I need my pistol. The guy walks up to the drivers window of the truck and judging by the body language, proceeds to bless the guy in the truck out. He leaves him with a peace sign, minus one finger, and walks back to his car. Now, after being unnerved at the scenario and getting myself ready in case I needed to stop a fight, I got a great laugh out of this. The back of the guys car is covered in bumper stickers: Coexist, PEACE, a peace sign, Bob Marley, SMILE and all the requisite happy hippie slogans. Hypocrisy at its finest.
