So Im posting this picture that my wife took of our son Thomas Alan, who today announced to the Vargas side of our family that he took his oath and swore in to the United States Navy. He leaves us in February to begin a new chapter of his life. Its a bittersweet moment filled with many different emotions, but overall I am more proud of him than I think I ever have been. Life in our household is gonna be a little different for quite awhile with him not being there, but this families love and support for one another is very strong, and that along with our faith in God will help us and Thomas get through just fine. We are behind you 100% son and will always be here for you.
