So Im sure some people remember the nightmares I had with Comcast about a year ago when I moved into my house. 3 weeks of them saying they would come install my cable and day after day I would sit at home and no one would show up. Eventually I paid someone cash on the side to install my cable on their off time even though I already paid the installation charge with Comcast. Here we are a year later and we were having some issues with the service so we went to upgrade our boxes to the X1 platform, and they were supposed to be here between 3-5 to install. Around 4:45 we get a call saying they are running late and will be here at 5:45. 6:00 rolls around, no one is here so I call and sit on hold for a half hour and then they answer and tell me they cant do it tonight and have to reschedule. So they transfer me to customer service which tells me their system isnt pulling up my account so I have to call back in an hour...then I say I want to cancel, so they transfer me and I get disconnected. Call back and the guy in India tells me my account is in another department and transfers me to another person that transfers me to another person and there is no resolution. I will seriously use rabbit ear antennas and a 56k phone modem with free AOL minutes on a CD-ROM before I give Comcast another dollar.
